Achieving Wellbeing and Wellness

Definition
Well-being, wellbeing, or wellness is the condition of an individual or group. A higher level of well-being means that in some sense the individual’s or group’s condition is more positive.

We create our own health – not just by what we eat or how often we exercise – but also by how we think and respond to everyday experiences. This tape introduces listeners to Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) – one of the fastest growing areas of applied psychology, and shows how we can harness its power to improve our health.

NLP examines how our thoughts affect our wellbeing. By looking into how our emotions affect our general overall health and immune system, we can learn to work with them and circumvent problems.

Imagine that our thoughts and intentions actually affect us physically, what positive and negative processes in our own physical well-being would be activated?

The mind-body connection furnishes us with a innovative means of releasing emotional pain and negative thinking in order to alleviate symptoms of physical issues. This holistic approach attends to the physical side of the dis-ease, via the removal of negative and unhelpful emotional and mental processes. These techniques may be used in concert with medical professionals, nutritionists and fitness experts to provide a means of stimulating healing.
